Located right in heart of Metairie Pro Mix Dj Academy is the center of New Orleans DJ and music production community.

20 DJ stations, Serato Scratch Live workstations, State of the art Music production and remix facility, Handicap accessible stations, and a huge record collection for students.

From Introductory Courses designed for students with no prior experience, to Advanced Courses designed for professional DJs, each class student will be assigned his/her own DJ setup, for a hands-on learning experience.

ProMix Features

“Dj Skills A-la-Cart”,

6 week semesters are designed to teach you specific skills needed to advance your proficiency, one course at a time.
While our courses give you the most bang for your buck, some students still may prefer private one-on-one time. We offer private lessons on almost anything you want: introduction topics, mixing, scratching, Serato Scratch Live, CDJ's, music production and much more. Club Rocker

If you want to become the next big club Dj in your city, this program is for you. Form introduction to the equipment to becoming an advanced blend dj using the latest technology.

Turntablist

Want to be the next Battle Champ, Play with a band, or just learn to use the turntable as an instrument? The Turntablist is a program designed to teach you techniques like scratching, drumming, and juggling. From the baby scratch to, advanced battle routines learn it correct and learn it fast at ProMix Dj Academy.

Remixer

Ever wanted to know how the latest club remixes and mash-ups are created?

The Remixer is a program designed to make you into the next big Remix Producer or Remix DJ. Learn to DJ and learn to make your own remixes using the latest technology!

Producer

Be the next Timberland, Kanye West, or Deadmou5. The Producer course teaches you everything you need to know about Making your own beats, recording, remixing & loop editing, and effects & automation.

Video DJ

One of the news and most exciting genre of Djs is the Video DJ, this program teaches a great blend of mixing and scratching, and he latest technology on the market for mixing Video Remixes Live!

Super Star

ProMix Dj Academy’s version of a master’s degree, The 30 month Super Star program covers everything from basic Djing to Advanced Remix Production.
